DECS Issue

Hello All,

After server upgrade from 8.5.2 to 8.5.3 we experience connectivity issues to AS400. We are using DECS and cannot create/save ODBC connection in a DECS Administrator database.

The following error comes up after making the connection.

[unixODBC][IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver]Communication link failure. comm rc=8002 - CWBSY0002 - Password for user “UserNameHere” on server AS400 is not correct, Password length = 8, Prompt Mode = Never, System IP Address = 00.00.000.00, Connector ‘odbc2’, Method -Connect- (8002)

Before version 8.5.3, we didn’t have this issue with the same configuration.

Hello!

I have the same problem, and also till upgrading to 8.5.3.

Other thing I can say is that when trying to test connection via dctest in my linux, I get the “segmentation fault” error using the ODBC connector.
