I’m trying to setup Lotus Smart Upgrade and cannot get the optional argument switches to work, for a silent install. From what I have read online and in the books, it says I need to decompress the installation kit. I downloaded the kit for upgrading 6.x.x to 6.0.3, from the Lotus site, but cannot find anyway to decompress it. Any ideas?

WinZip says it is invalid or corrupt, windows explorer just starts the install. The books and website offer no help at all, just tell you if you link to a shared directory for the file path, the file needs to be decompressed.
Subject: Update kits don’t decompress.
You can use WinZip on the webkits, not the Upgrade kits. The command line options to get the Upgrade kits to have a silent install is “/s”.

Please note the Upgrade kits are an MSI based install package so all the InstallScript command line options will not work.
