I have a computed when composed field “AVG” on a form.the formula for this field is :
@Count(@DbColumn(“”;“”:“”;“view1 - SAP-SLA”;2)).
when i execute the form , i get an error “The datatype of 2 matching results are incompatible”.
AVG is a numeric field and column 2 of “view1 - SAP-SLA” is also numeric.
Any idea that why this error comes??

Subject: dbcolumn problem
Hi aisha
u have notes based or client based application?
and try without @count : and lets see the result…
ie store it on temp variable and put it in output.,…

I have tried this as
newValue := @DbColumn( “Client” : “NoCache” ; “” ; “view1 - sap-sla” ;1 );
@If(@IsError(newValue) | newValue = “”;0;NewValue)
but it gives 0 always, although it has values.

make your view first column in ascending:

try this:
svr := @Subset(@DbName; 1);
db := @Subset(@DbName; -1);
newValue := @DbColumn( “Client” : “NoCache” ; svr : db ; “view1 - sap-sla” ;1 );
@If(@IsError(newValue) | newValue = “”;0;@Count(NewValue))
