We have a strange problem, which I hope someone could help with.
We have 2 servers. 1 is on Domino 8.0.2 and the other on 7.0.2
We have a number of databases on the 8.0.2 server which are replicated to the 7.0.2 server.
One of our databases is 38Gb in size and has ODS version 48 and is 99.5% used according to Domino Administrator client.
However, when we replicate this to the 7.0.2 server, the replica is 65Gb in size and is 99.6% in use. Deleting this database (using the Windows file system to ensure it is deleted)and then creating a brand new replica creates the same problem. The number of documents are the same in both databases as are all of the settings and properties. The only difference is the ODS version which is 43 on the 7.0.2 server.
I don’t have another server I can create a new replica on so don’t know if it’s the ODS version causing the issue - could it really make this big a difference to size?
