Db not opening when double clicked

I have a user that is unable to open any documents in a bulletin board application. The user has 2 of these apps on her home page. Randomly they stop responding. User tries double-clicking to open a document directly, and nothing happens. Also, the same result when trying to open the db. If she closes and reopens lotus, all is fine. It only affects these couple db’s, all other dbs are fine. I see nothing happening down on the message bar, or anything.

Has anyone else seen this type of behavior? I have not experienced this myself, but I have witnessed it on the end users machine.
