I have the following code in a field on one of my forms
@DbLookup(“”:“NoCache”;“notesdev.cc.sunysb.edu/DoIT”:“rchan\work\dept.nsf”;“Buildings\Managers”;“Area”;“Building_Manager”);
but when I try to open the form in client, it doesnt even open, I get the error
Field: “BulidingManager” : File does not exist.
Help!
Subject: DB lookup problem “File does not exist”
You have to include two blackslashes in the quotes to act like a single . That is why your error shows BuildingManager as a single word.
ie “Building\Managers”
Notes needs a second \ within quotes to interpret it correctly.

Remember that the same goes for the file path as well.
