Daylight savings time and iseries

Every time daylight savings time changes, our servers halt completely. The HTTP task loops and all other task become unresponsive. We need to restart all Domino servers at that time.

I can’t image that no one else has seen this issue. We run Domino 6 on OS400v5r3. One element that might be influencing this is that iseries gets its time from a Windows DC via NTP so it doesn’t really check the DST settings itself.

Any input is welcome.

I run Domino 5 and 6 and 7 on many different iSeries, from V4R5 through V5R3. Never had that problem. But in no case does iSeries get its system time from somewhere else. That might be the problem.
