Date picker, Can we speficy the default date it starts with?

Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to specify the date from which the date picker starts. I have 12 fields 1 for everymonth. The value is not mandatory but for clarity we need 12 fields. We would like the date picker to start from the 1st of the respective months for example 1st of September when the September field is selected.

Any ideas?
