I need to do some database usage stats, I’m using a ND7.0.2 notes admin but the server log files I’m looking at are 5.0.12. Ive tried exporting tabula text from the database usage view but am getting over 100,000 lines. Is there any better way of doing this.

Thx for the reply, I’m currently decomisioning ND5 servers and transfering applications to new ND7 servers, I need to do a usage check on the old servers to make sure that I have missed no databases, exporting from the log file creates huge text files that are very difficult to handle. I’m looking for any better way of doing this.

You could also read usage data from the database itself.
I have used CLASSUserActivity to read the logged user activity from whitin a database.
It is included in the DomainPatrol application which is free to use.
Look at the agent (2. Selected databases\11. Read User Activity …) on how I use it.
You can download the template from OpenNtf or the scanner as well from our website.
DomainPatrol might be helpful in other areas for you as well.
