Database size will increase

Hi, anyone:upgrade domino R5 to R7, but retain ODS 41 after the server upgrade.

it affects:

1)Each database will have twice as many view indexes.

2)Database size will increase.

so I want to know: the rate of size is? I want to evaluate my HD space.

by the way, upgrade to ODS 43, does the database size will be decrement?

Subject: Database size will increase

The view indexing engine changed from R5 to R6, so you need to run compact -d to remove all view indexes after upgrading to ODS 43. This will remove the R5 indexes, which will not be recreated.
