We want to force people to use a specific replica of a database, so I have a postopen formula in the db script to switch them to the correct server if they’re not already there.
However, if they receive a doclink, it ignores the postopen and opens the document on whichever server the user has on their workspace.

Instead send them a Db link.

If you need to send them to a specified server, consider using a Notes:// URL pointing to the document, rather than a doc-link.
e.g. This document is on the server Notes1, the second parm is the database number, the third (0) would be a view (which we don’t need here) and the last is the document number.
