Database script (mail6) will not be executed

Hi there,

i changed the database script of a mailfile (r6). On the client the script should start when the mail will be opened, the script didnt start. When i open the database on a different client, the script starts!

I removed the script, changed the template (to get the script back) and added my code again (just a print). No output.

Same after closing the client, removing cache, compacting workspace, cleaning workspace (the standard procedure…).

Are there some rules, which prevents the client from starting the script?

No there are no rules that would prevent you starting a databasescript. What I found was that when you have your database open in either the client of the designer any modified databasescript will not be recognized. You have to make sure that in all notes clients you database is not opened or selected.
