We have a Staff Leave database on Domino 6.5 and the status of the database does not update.
When the Manager approves a users leave, the user receives a notification of approval, but the database doesnt update. the database just says awaiting approval and it remains in the awaiting approval section (it doesnt go to the approved section)
What causes ‘it’ to ‘go to the approved section’ ?
I would assume that either there is a schedule agent that should be running, or it’s a manual process - either an extension of the Manager approving a user’s leave; or an additional process that needs to be performed.
Check to see if there are scheduled agents, if they’re enabled, and if they’re running, or if they fail to run because of an error.
Is there a field on the form that changes, when the manager approves the leave? If so, the view that shows the approvals will have to have a SELECT formula that chooses those documents.
