" Database is Currupt" Cannot Allocate Space

Hi

While Compacting one Database it shows error Database is Currupt, cannot allocate space.

I did some steps but not successful

  1. Replace design of Database.

  2. From Local Client Compact workspace.

  3. Deleted Cache.NDk, Desktop6.NDK

  4. Run Fixup tool in Server as well as nfixup in Client machine.

But still problem is not resolve .

Please suggest & help.

Regarding your noted corruption issue, you can attempt to perform the following maintenance steps on the database:

fixup -f

compact -c

If these steps do not resolve the corruption in the database, I would suggest restoring a backup copy.

I have fixed corrupt databases just making a copy. It could work for you.
