Database Icon on desktop

I’m having problems doing ‘searches’ in this forum…anyone else? I search and it just returns me to my date(threaded) view.

What I’m wondering is when ws.composedocument is used, is there anyway I can prohibit the database icon from going on the persons desktop? It’s a survey database where they can’t see the results anyway, so I’d rather have it not go on their desktops. Or can I remove it immediately?

i didn’t test it, but you might try to open the database first temporarly with the notesuiworkspace.opendatabase-method.there you can set, the ‘temporary’-flag which should prevent the creation of an icon.
