Dear All,
I want to know, is there any way to restrict users from deleting database, because users can delete any database by right clicking the database > Database > Delete option (even database is on server).
Same is the case that they can create replica copies of specific database on the local machine from the server.
Is there any way to restrict users from creating new replica copies or deleting the database from the SERVER.
Note: i put this question many times…but no remedy at all

Hi,
Your system is working as expected.
If you din’t want to give a user rights to delete the database, remove the manager accesss for the user.
In the systems where I’m administering, no users have delete rights. There is another check box in the ACL, where you authorize replication or not.
Take a look in the ACL. It’s very usefull.

The ability to create a new database on the server is controlled by the Server document in the Domino Directory – look at the Security tab. As for deletion, only people who have Manager access in the database ACL, Full Access Administration rights on the server or direct file-system access to the server with delete permissions can delete server-based databases.
