Is there a way, how can I create a shortcut on windows desktop for a certain users, so they can open databases, which are stored on servers?
I have found only bookmark feature, but with this, I can only place a bookmark in the Lotus Notes …
And I have also problem with bookmark in LN! I have one template on local and a “life” database on server. When I do the right-click on the icon on workspace for a server database, and I choose to place the bookmark on “bookmark bar”, problem occures. The problem is, that my template is opened instead of my life database on the server??
Any ideas?

Hi…
If you open your client to the workspace… you can DRAG an icon OFF the workspace (it will stay there also) and onto the computer’s DESKTOP. It will place a shortcut there for you. (Use regular click, and drag,… NOT right click)
On other issue… did you try Dragging the icon you want onto your Bookmark bar?

Thx for help! The dragging is working, but when i drag the server database to the desktop, icon is created, but it’s pointing on my local template. I have read some articles on this forum and according to people, problem can be, that those databases have same replica ID! But this is normal (template->inheriting db = same replica ID), not?
