Hii,i have Lotus domino 6.5 server,can ne one tell what is the safest and easiest way to take backup of database (documents) in domino server.Backup to external media.Please tell me detailed procedure

talking about backup, I have a question since you mention veritas and arcserv, when you do differential backup using one of above to me it looks like it backup software is looking on time stemp, which is ok but then it back up entire .nsf file… to me differential backup means “changes since last full backup” it does not sounds like veritas or arcserv do this for domino. Let say you add 1 document to database, time step has change, tonight you have differential backup job scheduled and what it does is backup of entire db, which means 2 days later you discover someone delete 1 document from database and what you have to do is restore whole database, you cannot restore just one document, sort of like TRN lof files is ms sql… is what i described true or I’m missing big picture?
