Is there anyway to create a log of invalid logon attempts to lotus notes databases, or is there an access log somewhere already? I am not talking about a local user log, but a database access log. Note that this database is not accessible via web, only via Lotus Notes Client.

Subject: event generator/handler
I don’t have a handy example right now, but I believe these are logged to the server log. So, you should be able to set up an event generator/event handler to Log the event to a configured destination. The Admin Help covers these, but the instructions seem vague. However, I recommend your read the Help and then try to set up ANY kind of event generator, with a handler to email you. Make sure the Events task is running. Once you’ve done one like that, you should be able to set up what you’re looking for.
