The data folder disappeared on one of the notes clients. Everything in it names.nsf, id file, archive…etc. all got deleted. Searched the c: drive, but found none of these files.Anyone seen this before? how can I restore back these files?

First make sure the search is including system directories (like program files) as Window search can exclude these directories.
The default install is normally c:\program files\lotus\notes\data
I would just use My Computer / Explorer and see if that folder exist.
If the directory is gone and the files are not in the recycle bin. Your next option is a tool that undeletes files. You may have limited success with that. They key files are: {shortname}.id, desktop6.ndk, names.nsf and a nice to have is bookmark.nsf
If you cannot recover the files… Then you’re starting over.
