I have a form which will save close itself and compose another form on the web.
I want the data in a field called DocID on the 1st form to be transferred to the 2nd form. I made a computed field named DocID on the 2nd form with its value as DocID, but this didnt work. Can someone help me out?? Thanks!

How are you composing the second document? WebQuerySave event? if so get a handle on the 1st document context prior to creating the second document and set the field ahead of time in the code. Alternatively, using the querystring is an easy way to pass a few field values to a new document.
