I’m doing some performance tests on a Domino Database.
I have a 2 views database with 480,000 documents.
Each document has a 30 Kb Tiff file.
The database has 15 Gb.
Does any one know how much a domino database can hold in terms of documents or space.
I know the 65Gb of Lotus, but can I work on a database with 5,000,000 documents or with one with 100Gb?
I realy need help here. I have to estimated a solution tha must old 5.6 Million documents/year.

It might not be impossible, but I wouldn’t do it.Domino is not designed to do this kind of job.
Anf if you’re determined to use Domino, then you better find a way to split the whole thing up in multiple databases…

Then Domino is the wrong tool to be using. You should be looking at DB2/Websphere.

It depends on the overall architecture.
We are having customers with over 100 GB of scanned docs, PDFs, xls, doc, or similar objects.
They are stored on IMiS/ARC Server, keeping only appropriate (and secure) links into NSF(s).
