Will DAOS work with pasted images in an RT field and/or with in-line MIME images in HTML mails.
We send and receive a lot of newsletters in HTML format with in-line images. It’d be really great if these images could be candidates for DAOS.
Subject: Attachments
DAOS only operates on attachments currently. If the data is stored as an attachment on the document, it will be considered for DAOS storage. If it’s inline in a rich text field, it is not eligible.
We’ve discussed doing this (signatures are another area where this could be effective) but it is not currently planned.

I was also thinking about signatures and how graphics in signatures can be duplicated several times by forwarding or replying emails.
