Is it fair to say that the DAOS file repository can be put on less performing disks (SATA) since the amount of IOs is expected to be low ?
In many cases this is a great idea. For example, in our mail benchmark in which 10% of the mail contains attachments and about a quarter of the attachments are read, we see very low i/o rates and this would be a recommended configuration.
