Hi I’m looking into activating DAOS, but foresee issues with regards to backup/restore.for example:
I have a mailfile with DAOS. The mailfile and NLO files are backupped. When the user leaves the company the mailfile is deleted. After let’s say 30 days the nlo files are removed (when no other instances exist). After 1 year a request is done for a restore of this mailfile. After restore, How would I know which NLO files to restore ?
should I also restore the DAOS index database from that 1 year old backup ?
I’m a “keep it simple” Notes administrator.
Anyone has any experience how much administration load adding DAOS/transaction logging will bring ?
