Hello everyone,
i need help with my installation of damo. I#m trying to get the calendar entries (outlook) from a colleague into his mailfile on a domino server.
So i installed the latest DAMO release
Configured Outlook 2007
Opened his personal folders
And then just c&p into his notes mailfile.
But i can try sending and receiving as often as i want. It just won’t happen.
Can someone tell me where and how to debug ?
Is there just one entry that blocks all the others or is c&p not allowed.
I just want to get rid of his outlook installation. So if there are other easy ways to get all the calendar entries from outlook to notes it would be fine.
Already tried nupgrade and companionlink software.

As far as why DAMO is not working I am unsure - perhaps its still doing its initial replication? I am not familiar with any recent version of DAMO but the concept of your idea should work. I would try to get it working with regular mail first and then try calendar items…
However, there is an easier way. You can save your Outlook calendar as an ics file, and then import it into your Lotus Notes calendar directly using File->Import (iCalendar). A writeup on how to export your calendar from Outlook can be found here (I found this with a quick google search):
I believe that you should be able to transfer data fairly easily doing this, and it should have pretty good fidelity. You might have some problems with some complex repeating meetings, but almost any current solution will have some of these issues do to differences in the calendar data structures.
