DAMO: ID files may be missing or invalid

I’ve installed the DAMO (C1K37EN) client on a fresh laptop with Office 2003 on it.

When I started it up for the first time it went through this process:

  1. it prompted for the clients name, and domino server

  2. it then prompted for the ID file

  3. challenged for a password

  4. brings up an error message “Session failed to open. Your ID file may be invalid of missing. Outlook will close”

Now each time I open outlook it just does 3 + 4.

I’ve check the users profile under:

…\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\DominoForOutlok\

and can see the .id file for the user. What am I doing wrong ?

Any tips on how to get this working ?

Any response? I am having the same problem. I have installed the interim fix 4 and will start working on getting fix 5, but will that solve the problem?
