I’ve installed DAMO and tried running it. After I enter my notes password at the prompt a DOS screen pops up with the following error:

PANIC: LookupHandle: null handle
I am running Windows XP SP2 and Outlook 2007.
Any help would be appreciated.
Subject: DAMO Crashes With LookupHandle: null handle
I encountered this problem when installing a new user. I found that the ID has to be authenticated to the Domino server before you can set up DAMO.
Switch to the new users id file on a PC that has the Notes client installed. Once you have logged into Lotus Notes using the client you can copy the id to the users PC and you will be able to complete the install.
When prompted for the password, while creating the MAPI profile, click cancel and browse to the id file you copied to the PC.

Try these things…locate the notes.ini file in the DAMO folder (normally C:\Program Files\DominoForOutlook) and add the following configuration items:
To assist with troubleshooting:
REPL_PST_DEBUG=1
CONSOLE_LOG_ENABLED=1
These settings create log files (in the IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder which is a sub-folder of DominoForOutlook) which you can review to troubleshoot.
Also the following setting forces a full replication to be done upon each synch:
REPL_PST_FORCE_SUBMIT=1
