I am using DAMO 7.02 on Outlook 2003 SP3 under WinXP SP2.Two Poblems:
-
why does DAMO change Text only mails (you can see them with the Notes client) to HTML mails after “reading” it from the Notes server, and sends them back to the server, with a line feed after 76 char’s? Is there a way to tell DAMO, not to do this, but leave the mail “text only” and unchanged on the server?

from time to time I receive mails with unreadable attachments. I could reproduce the issue with Apple Mail and text only mail. Before DAMO the mail in the Notes client was text only and the attachment definitely readable. The header of the attachment looked like this in the Notes Client HTML Source view:
–Apple-Mail-41–1033156800
Content-Type: application/pdf;
x-unix-mode=0644;
name="AntragVPN.pdf"
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename=AntragVPN.pdf
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
After DAMO has “read” the mail and changed it to HTML:
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name=“AntragVPN.pdf”
Content-Disposition: attachment;filename=“AntragVPN.pdf”
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Furthermore when trying the same (i.e. Apple Mail, text only) with two attachments, the first one (a Word Doc) was readable, the second one not.
Any ideas on this behaviour or a workaround?
Thank’s for help
