I have this situation:
two Domino domains (D1, D2), in two different Directories, each with its own server (S1, S2).
Now, on S1 (Domino Domain D1) Directory Assistance is configured to allow users to lookup people belonging to Domain D2. It works: users type the first few letters of someone on D2 and it is completed. Mail gets routed natively because there is a Connection document between the two servers.
Now to the problem:
user on D1 writes to user on D2 and to someone on the internet. S1 (server on domain D1) receives the mail and has to assign an internet address for the user in domain D2. How does it do it? Now the mail goes out to internet with email as coming from domain D1.
How should this be configured?
I tried setting a Global Domain on D1 directory for domain D2 but it did not work.
