Customizing the Notes 8.5 Template

I am attempting to add a logo or a graphic to the new lotus notes 8.5 template. We would like it so that the user enters a signature it will just autoplace the graphic under the signature. We would like to add it so that it is a link to a website so that users do not store the graphic to their mailfile and when it leaves our environment the graphic is actually placed on the email.

I created a sub-form named “CompanyLogo” which only contains the following blue text with the “Pass-Through HTML” property flagged to true. I bolded the text representing the reference to the image. This however is not working properly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Hi!

Mail that leaves your environment, will be converted from Notes-Mail-Format to smtp standard. SMTP does not know Notes and your customization. If you wish a grafic/link (and so on) mails leave your company, you have to options

  1. insert the content to normal signature in every mail (also by policy)

  2. buy a tool like IQ.Suite, to add a rule for attach the content at bottom/top of mails.

Subject: Where is the policy for signature located?

I am not aware or can not find any policy that can be applied for the signature, where is this policy located?
