I have a clustered mail environment and I would like to use my clustered servers as my users primary server when they are accessing there email from the web. The default webmail redirect looks like it builds the URL from the users person doc. I would like to intercept that and change the server listed in the person doc to there clustered server. So instead of the URL being http://server.domain.com/server/mail/mail.nsf to be http://server.domain.com/clusteredserver/mail/mail.nsf.
My reason for this is that we are not load balancing our clustered servers so for the most part the only thing happening is cluster replication. By enabling HTTP on these clustered servers I can leverage these boxes and keep the HTTP traffic off of my users ‘home’ mail server.
Maybe I’m going down the wrong track, are there other ideas? Thanks
