Customising iNotes Template

hi all,

Has anybody modified iNotes templates…i tried to add a button in the memo form send and print…i could not… it is not visible…how to do it??

U can customize iNotes Template. Open that .ntf file using Designer and add the needed action bar buttons. After adding it, Use Replace Design Template Option from the database,then it will replace the design template. Now u can see the newly added action bar buttons

hi maju,

thanks for the response. i did as u have told me still the buttons are not visible when i opened the mail file in browser.it is showing only the default buttons. i refreshed the design also…any idea why it happens so…

That’s completely incorrect.

If you want to add buttons (for the WEB inotes interface), you must add them in the Forms6.nsf database. See the redbook (DWA 6.5 on Linux)

Hi Tom,

Thank very much for your response. I just want to update to that we are runing domino on windows 2000 server. Also as you have told me i could not find the Forms6.nsf in the server. Where can i find the database in the windows innvironment. And also where can i find the redbook for the same.

The redbook : IBM Redbooks

The forms6.nsf database is in the iNotes directory, in your server Notes Data directory.

It’s hidden when you try to open it thru the Notes client, but you can open it by typing in the name (or you can see it in the Administrator client)
