We’ve created a custom welcome page as per the admin help - (new database based on bookmark.ntf), and are trying to deploy this via a desktop policy. The desktop policy has a link to the new db, the name of the welcome page specified, and the database is also set to be replicated to each client when the policy runs.
On most of the client machines this all works, the new welcome page db is replicated to the client and the welcome page changed to be what it should be. The problem is that we’ve got a number of clients (about 10%) that the welcome page never changes. The policy is getting to these machines as we can see a local replica of the database created, and other settings in the policy take effect (e.g internet browser, textured workspace…). Its just that for these machines the switch between the standard bookmark.nsf and our custom one never happens.
The Notes clients are all v6.5.3 and the Domino server is also v6.5.3. I notice that a lot of these problems have been seen before but they all seem to be earlier versions than 6.5.3
Can anyone shed any light on why this is happening, & / or how we can force the update.
