My customers who have upgraded Notes from 6.5.4 to 8.0.2 have lost all their custom toolbars and even custom buttons on ‘Universal’ toolbar.
I didn’t have a problem when I upgraded from 7.0.3 to 8.02.
Does anyone has a solution?
Subject: Loss of tool bar customization
There is a possibility that the bookmarks.nsf was re-created during the upgrade. Depending on how the upgrade was completed, if the bookmarks.nsf file was deleted or removed from the data directory, then the customized tool bar would be lost as the customizations are stored in bookmarks.nsf.
