Has anyone come across a custom Out of Office agent allowing a user to selectively choose the Internet users whom should recevie the notification? I do not want to send a notification back to a spam email, but I do want to select a few key individuals from my address book to receive the OOO message.

Ryan, you could use the “do not automatically reply to mail from Internet addresses” checkbox on the Exceptions tab, then enter into the Special Message area the addresses you DO want to reply to.
The only danger here would be the Internet user who should have gotten a message, but wasn’t on your list. You’d have to weigh that against the risk of confirming your address to a random spammer who got through your filters.

Thanks Jennifer, but I tried that. It seems once you check “do not automatically reply to mail from Internet addresses”, it will stop all outbound notifications, even if an email is listed on the Special Message area.
