How do I customise the “Getting Started” page in Notes 8.5?There are some features that we’re not using that are referenced on this page, so we would like to remove the references.

Currently we don’t provide such flexibility to freely choose which items to get displayed in getting started page. The present solution is to provide a static html template to generate a html page to the user according to the current locale and we don’t support customizing the content of the page. Nevertheless, we’ve provided an individual solution for MAC platform: On carbon, we don’t have symphony and activities components in the getting started page. Please describe in detail what is the requirement and we will see whether we can do something about it.

Being able to customise the static html page is what we need. We don’t want to advertise Symphony (yet) as it will confuse our users.
We also don’t want to use Sametime in the initial release, so references to that will be irrelevant.
We would like to be able to point out the “Search” box on the Open button, as most of our users will be lost without the workspace.
Finally, we’d like to be able to include links to electronic copies of documentation that we’ll be distributing prior to the release that people will first use as a coaster or mouse mat, then throw away without reading.
Alternatively, being able to turn off “Getting Started” at install time / through notes.ini would be useful.
