Custom Control with simple categorized View fails

  • This appears to have been that View. I tried other Views, both categorized and not, and they all work. Don’t know why DDE thinks it’s okay and it breaks, but there it is.

Subject: Sorry to bother you, Paul…

  • Apparently the edits didn’t replicate, or do it before you saw. This was a problem with the View that I was using, not the ViewPanel. I discovered any other View worked fine, so I created a new View specifically for the XPage and it’s working beautifully.

  • Most likely unless you have a View that is “corrupted” just like mine (works in Notes, doesn’t in XPages) it will be essentially impossible to ascertain why DDE didn’t complain when using the “corrupted” View. Since a new View fixed it, it’s a non-issue as far as I’m concerned.

  • I was hoping my edits to remove everything and the “Solved” marker would prevent anyone from spending time on it.
