Custom Calendar App Issue

Creating a custom calendar & activity app for group of users, using STDR85Mail version 8.5 (10/29/2008) template. Made a copy and switched it to hit CalendarFS on load versus MailFS. Have gone through and hidden out most of the functionality or stripped it down to be just a simple calendar view I manged to get the bottom of the left navigation box content (To Do’s, Notices etc) to not show, but I am not finding where the actual bottom box/frame is located at to remove it. Just want the mini cal at the top and the views below them for the 1 day, 2 day etc.

Anybody know what Frameset, Page, Form etc I am looking for to remove that bottom box from the CalendarFS frameset?

Appreciate any comments or suggestoins.

Thanks in advance,

Steven Cannon

Subject: Solution

assuming you are using the basic calendar view, you will want to modify the CalendarFS Left2 frameset, then change the computed formula for the middle frameset to just point to CalFS Left2 None

Subject: RE:Solution - Didn’t Work

I tried doing that and nothing changed. I noticed in the Calendar FS framset it has the composite app stuff set. I may need to just scrap using the 85 mail template and build something from scratch. Appreciate the response I am just not sure if there is not too much other stuff integrated in the mail template to pull off converting it to a quick Calendar only type application. I just need the C&S with some customization and all the other stuff can be scrapped.

Thanks again,

Steven

Subject: Do you have the Composite Application editor installed?

If so, you can open up the NotesMailApps.xml file in it

Then when in the editor, you can select the Notes Calendar Mini View, right click on it and select Delete Component. Save the changes and it should be gone.
