A feature from Notes 7 was CTRL+TAB and ALT+F4 to respectively changes tabs and close tabs. The shortcuts describe the features as being available, yet neither function.
Subject: Additional issue: Missing “Close All Open Window Tabs” smart icon
There is another issue with closing open window tabs. In the Notes 8.x Basic client (and earlier versions) there is a menu command to “Close all Open Window Tabs” that closes all tabs except the Home page tab, There is a matching Smart icon to perform this action.
In Notes 8.x Standard the menu command is now “Close All” which closes all tabs including the Home page tab (it would be nice if it left the Home tab alone!)
The problem is that the corresponding Smart icon is not listed as an available button even though it shows in the toolbar contents.
Is there a way that we can we get this icon back?

There are two issues - would you please confirm the #2?
This is for Basic client only option, which bleeds through to the Standard. “Close All Open Window Tabs” is an option for Basic client. We need to hide this in Standard mode.
We have “Close All” for Standard instead, but there is no toolbar icon associated with it. You want the Toolbar Icon which works just like the one in Basic. - Correct?

Hi Yoshie-Yes, the issue is related to the Standard client mode.
The “Close All” action does not have an associated toolbar like it does in the Basic and older versions of Notes. It would be nice to get this icon back in the 8.x Standard mode of Notes.

I’m fairly new here, so I can’t figure out what it means that a new SPR has been created?
When will this be solved? This thread is back from 8 months ago, has anything happened since?
The ctrl+tab functionality is essential, especially since every other program out there has it (or sometimes ctrl+pageup/down), so it becomes such a natural habit to use that instead of the dreaded mouse.
The current alternative with ctrl+F8 followed by arrow down and enter is useless.
