CSS & Checkboxes, Looks Great on Web, Client is messy

I have been working on a web form for the past few weeks here. Here’s the goal:I am trying to put a volunteer form in to our new website so that visitors and apply

for volunteer positions. The form when submitted is saved and a doclink is

sent to the volunteer coordinator.

I’ve got a big chunk of checkboxes, and initially I had a problem with the fonts

in the checkboxes looking poorly, so with the help of some people here in the

forum, I was able to work out the layout issues with the following solution:

“[Checkbox Value]” | Checkbox Value

Well, it looks fantastic on the web:

But it looks nasty in the client:

It’s really is there any way I can get these values looking great on the web, and just have the plain text in the client?

I think all of this style-garbage will irritate my clients here.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks for the insightful response, but I need to keep this on thesame form to get the workflow working correctly.

Any other ideas?

Subject: The suggestion was that you have 2 forms both named exactly the same thing.

One thats hidden from the Notes Client and the other that is hidden from the Web

Exactly…the content of the forms are identical, it is just the layout that is different and this would have no impact on the workflow.

Thanks so much for the help. I have been trying to do this the hard way for years.

I never knew that you could do the same form twice, just as long as you had the same

fields on it. I wish you could see me kicking myself at this moment. I’ve got about 3

problems right now that I can fix now.

Subject: You can actually have more fields on the Notes (I assume the “workflow”) form.

As a matter of fact you must always remember the difference between a Notes Document and the form that is used to display it.
