In theory would it be possible with Lotus Notes 8.02 and Crystal Reports 2008 to use eclispe to develop a java application with crystal reports embedded and then use this as part of a composite application in Lotus Notes. Has anybody done this yet? Any potential pitfalls?

we are working at the same idea.
What we have done:
We used eclipse to create a java program to use the crystal reports viewer. That works fine in eclipse, but it didn’t work in notes 7 (changing the datasoure at runtime). So we stopped our tests.
Now we will start our tests with notes 8 and crystal reports 2008 or crystal reports for eclipse and we try to integrate the java program as a composite application in notes.
Until now we haven’t got any nameable results.
If you’ve got any further information, we would be grateful to hear from you.
