Hi all, Can anyone advise me whether Crystal Reports 8 and XI is OK with Notes R7.0.2 … ?

I am not able to get my reports to work after upgrading from ND6.5.3 to ND7.02. The Crystal XI release notes indicate that native access to Notes is no longer supported (although the driver is still included). They recommend using ODBC access only.I can’t get the NotesSQL version 3.02j to work…

So based on my experience I would say do not upgrade the system running Crystal to ND 7.02.

I have no problems working with XI and 7.0.2 -

1.) Watch the install of the products : If you install Lotus Notes to the root directory and do not take the default (which is the ‘program files’ directory) then install Crystal Reports - it will see the connector.

2.) the connector only recognizes so name forms / views with the native connector. What I do is create views for the forms within the database and start them with “CE” - that way I know the views are for Crystal reporting

3.) Also watch form that have ‘alias’ names Crystal does not like this

What version of the odbc driver are you using?
