I was successfully running Crystal Enterprise v8.0 with R5 to view Crystal reports via the web. I upgraded to R6 and now I can’t seem to get it to work.Anyone else have this problem? Solutions?

I got the answer from Crystal Decisions…No - Crystal Enterprise (v8, v9) does not work with Domino R6 - Their plans are to support R6 with v10 of Crystal Enterprise.

Donald, are you using the Native driver for your reports? It is possible that Native support for Crystal and R6 is not available for CE8, but I would suspect that the ODBC connection through the NotesSQL 3.02b driver would work just fine.

We were using Crystal Reports 8.5 with R5. Once we upgrade our production server to R6, Crystal Reports 8.5 does not work. Therefore, we have purchased Crystal Reports XI. We created about 50 reports in 8.5 using the native driver (ps2note.dll) - worked great in R5 but when Crystal Reports XI is installed, it has a new native driver crdb_ps2note.dll (TAKE NOTE - I was talking to tech support at Busniess Objects and the native driver will be deprecated and is no longer supported). I’ve verified all the databases with Crystal Reports XI and now the native driver doesn’t work. I have the daunting task of setting up ODBC data sources and converting all my reports to use the NotesSQL 3.02g driver which of course is completely supported by Business Objects. So be aware all Crystal Report designers using Lotus Notes -create all reports using the ODBC driver and not the native driver.
