Hi All
I am new to Lotus Notes. I have worked in Crystal Reports before. Here is my question. How do I connect Crystal Reports with Lotus Notes? and is it enough if I have Lotus Notes Client installed in my system or do I have to install the entire LN package in my system. NOTE: My system is not in the network where the lotus notes server is installed. I will be working using a remote login. Please provide me with links or suggestions.

You will also need the Notes ODBC driver for crystal to communicate with your notes database. Not too terribly hard.

The interaction between Lotus Notes and Crystal Reports will depend on what you want to do?
First off, Crystal Reports comes with NATIVE drivers so taht you can talk from Crystal to Domino without using ODBC. The advantages of Native drivers are GREAT, believe me.
If you want to create Server based reports you should use both the Crystal Server and the Domino server to communicate to each other.
If you have only the client Crystal then you can still connect to the Domino server, except that you will not be able to schedule anything, you will be restricted to on-demand reporting.
