I administer a R5.013 domain called e.g ABC. I created a separate
domain with an R7 server and a new certifier id in a new called
DEF.
For practical reasons I would like to access the R7 domain DEF
with my
R5 ID ABC certified. I copied the person documents from the R5
domain
into the NDD of the R7 server and extracted safe copies of the
R5 id.
After crosscertifying the two domains on the domain level in the
R7
amdin client
I access the server from my R5 client and receive a request to
crosscertify which happens, then an error message the server :
''signature on the certificate was found to be invalid, Check
log file.
Do you want to access the server anyway’’
of course I would like to access the server then the following
error
''encrypted data has been modifed or the wrong public key was
used to
decrypt.‘’
The default cert id created with a R7 server is not compatible
to versions below 6. Then I created a new cert id with the R7 admin client compatible to all the other versions.
Crosscertifed that certifier with my R5 Ids -
same error message.
Would someone have any ideas how to proceed?
