Dear All,
I have a mail server ( Lotus Domino 6.5 )
I cannot create a new rule .
I go to configuration, go to messaging, then messaging settings, then restrictions & controls, then click on rules, then click edit message settings.
Then i click on new rule .
I am receving an error message :
Error ON Server Rules - Function ActionNewRule → 4412: Notes Error- cannot locate field.
Pls Help !!!

Dear Simone,
I had the same problem. I do modifications to server rules always via Configuration → Server → Configurations → (select your server here) → Router/SMTP → Restrictions and Controls → Rules.
It seams to be the same but in my case it works fine.

It sounds like a design issue with your directory (names.nsf). There were issues with upgrades to R6 after initial install and/or if the post-upgrade steps were not followed. Have you attempted a design refresh/replace?
