Creation of Basic Transform File

Hi.

I need to create a basic .mst file using Installshield tuner that will deploy notes client 8 on all our workstations.

I have created several .mst files however none of them seem to work properly. Also I didn’t find any info on the net as regards configuring the .mst file through the installshield.

Can anyone tell me which values need to be inputted for the following fields to be able to take off the dialogs:

Customer information:

PROPERTY            VALUE??

Allusers =  

ISX_serialnum = 

Username =

CustomerPath Choices:

Control_Property = 

INSTALLDIR = 

o =

Custom Setup:

Browse Property =

The above are the settings that need to be inputted in order to take of dialogs.

Could anyone please guide me as how to create the most basic silent install .mst file that would get the job done?

Hi Simon,

I was trying to do the same thing you were. Please check out this thread. I found out that I didn’t even need to use the Install Shield Tuner.

I just packaged up the original download file with SuRunas.

Seems to work fine except for the Install Cancelled dialog at the end.
