Hi,I have installed windows 2003 server.Active directory has been configured.Also Lotus Domin R6.5 has been installed & configured on the same server.Windows Active Directory & Lotus Domino synchronisation is happenning properly.
This is confirmed when I register a user in domino admin client & at the same time give the windows user creation it cretaes the user in active directory.After that when I make any changes to the same user using active directory & then use the synchronisation option it synchronises properly.
Now the problem is as follows:
When I try to create user in Active Directory & then proceed to create the domino user it gives the following error:
"No effective policy will apply, or error occurred while retrieving policy settings.
Notes user(s) cannot be registered."
We have created the “Organisational policy” for “password” as well as “Explicit policy” for “setup”.
Please suggest if any resolution is there for the same.Also if any one has not tried on Windows 2003 tell me if Windows2000 is it possible.
