Creating Notes fields from SMTP X-headers

Hi all,

I know I can convert a Notes field into an X-header on an SMTP message. Does anyone know of a way to do the reverse? That is, for inbound mail from the internet, I’d like to preserve the value stamped in an X-header by an MTA in a Notes field.

Thanks

Dave

Since the X-headers are part of the incoming mail, they already are fields on the document. The question is if you want to display the fields on the form? If that’s the case, simply change the form to add the appropriate fields to it.

Did I completely misunderstand you?

Ah, so they are. That’ll be why there are no admin sections to turn on this ‘feature’. Thanks for the response.
